Be at the top of your game

Executive Coaching is for people who are going places. This is for individuals who want personalised, highly focused and results based development that enables them to improve performance, increase effectiveness and enhance their learning. It is for people who want to be at the top of their game and who want to fully realise their full potential in the future. Studies suggest that people generally realise only 40% of their potential at work - what a waste!

Executive Coaching is the ideal route for:

Leaders and Managers
Entrepreneurs and Business Owners
Directors and Partners
Head Teachers
Leadership teams
Lawyers, Health Professionals and Heads of Service
People new to a role
'Rising Stars'

Executive Coaching can include:

Leadership and people skills
Managing time, priorities and heavy work loads
Strategic thinking, planning and decision making
Career development and building a business
Communicating, influencing and managing change
Building high performing teams
Building relationships and managing conflict
Getting a better work/life balance, improving wellbeing
Building confidence, self-belief and motivation

To help you identify your strengths and work out where some of your most important opportunities for development may exist you can download two straightforward evaluation tools from my resource page.

Then give me a call and we can have a chat about what you've discovered and talk about how coaching could support your development and improve your performance in your chosen role.

Savvy organisations now insist on only hiring coaches with recognised credentials from either the I.C.F. or the E.M.C.C. Why hire a coach and worry about their credentials? I'm an I.C.F. Professional Certified Coach and I provide Executive Coaching for individuals in both public and private sectors. I have an extensive client list and proven track record. I receive regular supervision and work with a mentor coach as part of my ongoing development. Choose me as your coach and you'll be going places.

How do Executive Coaching assignments work?

We'll begin by establishing an agreed coaching plan that includes clear objectives, measures of success, time scales and costs. Included in the plan will be our coaching agreement that sets out confidentiality, boundaries, I.C.F. codes of conduct and scheduling of appointments. Assignments typically involve a series of two hour appointments either face to face or by telephone over a period of several months. Where the individual being coached is not the sponsor of the coaching there may be initial meetings involving Coach, Coachee and Sponsor to discuss and agree objectives. Sponsors may often be involved in subsequent reviews and evaluations of the effectiveness of the coaching plan within previously agreed terms of confidentiality.

Coaching is reviewed regularly to monitor progress and confirm the coaching plan is on track. A range of assessment tools and development initiatives such as 360 degree feedback can form part of the coaching assignment if required. Final reviews take place to evaluate achievement of objectives and success measures. C.I.P.D. studies of Executive Coaching show that 99% of people receiving coaching achieve tangible benefits and that coaching achieves more than a 530% R.O.I. So it's not surprising that coaching is now seen as an essential development activity to support key people in successful organisations. Some of the benefits identified for executive coaching include:

  • Having a safe place to offload
  • Developing skills you already have
  • Learning new skills
  • Gaining insight into yourself and the people you work with
  • Getting unbiased, confidential support
  • Gaining fresh perspectives on your goals and challenges
  • Generating suggestions, new choices and creative solutions

A good match

There are three key ingredients for coaching to be successful. First a good coach with excellent skills; second a client/coachee who wants to make progress in their chosen areas; and third a good match between coach and client/coachee. So how will you know if there is a good match? You'll probably get an initial feel from my web site and in the next paragraph I'll tell you a little more about me to help with this. We can also have a preliminary conversation without obligation where you can firm up on your initial feelings. Finally by the end of our first appointment to create your coaching plan we'll be able to confirm that there is a good match between us.

So here is a little more about me. I've worked for three multi-nationals in management roles, run my own leisure business and worked with many organisations on the Investor in People programme. My passion for coaching began with sports then evolved over time to executive and life coaching. I've coached many outstanding individuals from both public and private sectors including Managing Directors, Head Teachers, Business Owners, C.E.O.s, Lawyers, Heads of Service, Entrepreneurs, Leaders and Managers.

One thing important to me about Executive Coaching is that it achieves excellent results for both you and your organisation. What is also important is that it provides an opportunity for you to improve performance and gain personal development across a range of areas that really matter to you. There is always space on your coaching plan for both work and personal objectives, after all we are more than just our work!

Give me a ring now and we can have a chat about where my coaching could help you improve performance and gain significant learning and development.
